Introducing: Mega Braid. A temporary or permanent braided rope for electric fence that is designed to provide security as well as safety for horses and all other type animals. It is strong and durable, can stand alone as a permanent perimeter fence, or moved frequently and re-reeled for rotational grazing.

Mega Braid is one of the largest braided fence rope on the market, a full 0.30" in diameter, with an extreme break strength of 1,500 lbs tensile. It comes in rolls of 656' and each roll weighs about 14lbs.

Mega Braid combines elasticity with barrier strength. It absorbs stretching force from animals, trees and other debris then springs back to its original condition. The outer braided jacket is made of very high grade polyester fiber, and the inner core is polyester and a non woven synthetic. This polyester fiber is basically unaffected by UV light from the sun, and is dimensionally stable; after stretching, it returns to its original length without jeopardizing the conductor wires.

Mega Braid incorporates 8 large diameter stainless steel conductor wires which are braided into the outer jacket of the rope, ensuring a maximum amount of conductor wire exposure for the animal to make contact. Mega Braid comes in white with a blue tracer braided for better visibility for animals. Each roll is 656ft.

Mega Braid comes with a 20-year Limited Warranty which states it will not rot, lose strength due to weathering, or break in a normal, well maintained permanent fence installation due to manufacturing defect.

Fence posts can be wood, vinyl, steel or fiberglass spaced a maximum of 30 to 50 feet apart. Mega Braid must be reasonably maintained to reduce the amount of weed growth or interference on the fence line; we recommend the use of either the Wood Post Screw in Ring Insulators (Part Number 650502) or our 3 in 1 Multi-Purpose Insulators (Part Number 653115) and our rope accessory items to ensure the most effective fence conditions and longevity.
